Pittsburgh Penguins head coach Dan Bylsma announced defenseman Zbynek Michalek will miss two-to-four weeks with an upper-body injury.

Michalek has one assist in three games for the Penguins, who signed the Czech native to a five-year contract this past summer.

The 27-year-old spent the last five seasons in Phoenix after debuting as an NHLer with Minnesota in 2003-04. He has recorded 116 points on 27 goals and 89 assists over 418 NHL games.

Bylsma also said defenseman Brooks Orpik remains day-to-day with a groin strain, while forward Arron Asham is expected to miss another two weeks with an upper-body injury.
