Shea Weber out with Concussion

The Nashville Predators will be without star defenceman Shea Weber for an indefinite period due to a concussion, the team announced on Tuesday. He will be evaluated on a daily basis with no date scheduled for his return.

Weber was hit hard by Mark Fistric in Nashville's game against Dallas Friday. He appeared fine after the game and was even able to speak to reporters. On Monday, however, Weber left practice early and the team was unsure what was ailing him.

"There's no official timetable for his return, but he's feeling better and I'm hoping there's a chance for him to return Friday," head coach BarryTrotz told TSN. "But we'll see."
