St. Paul, MN (Sports Network) - The Minnesota Wild re-signed goaltender Josh Harding to a one-year contract on Wednesday. Harding will return to serve as the backup to starter Niklas Backstrom. The 26-year-old went 9-12-0 with a 3.05 goals-against average and .905 save percentage in 25 games last season. Originally a second round selection (38th overall) of Minnesota in the 2002 draft, Harding is 28-39-4 with a 2.66 GAA and .915 save percentage in 58 career games. He also has four shutouts to his name. |
