Patrick Sharp Out 3-4 Weeks with Injury

The Chicago Blackhawks will be without one of their top scorers for an extended period of time, as forward Patrick Sharp will be sidelined for 3-4 weeks with an undisclosed upper-body injury.

Sharp left Sunday's game against the Detroit Red Wings moments after scoring his 20th goal of the season - just 4:19 into the contest - and didn't return.

"Sharpie's going to be out three-to-four weeks with an upper-body injury," head coach Joel Quenneville said. "He's certainly had a good first half for us, but I just think we need to pay better attention to detail, play tighter and we might get more offense (to help compensate). When we think we've got to outscore teams and everybody's got to manufacture offense is when we expose ourselves."
