Yes the Tomas Kaberle trade rumors have started once again. It appears the Kaberle project is not working out in Carolina.

From GM Jim Rutherford: “Tomas Kaberle better pick up his game or he won’t be in Carolina Long!” A couple of weeks ago Rutherford let teams know Kaberle is available for a trade.

Kaberle is making $4.25 million/ year till the 2013-2014 season. Rutherford will not get what Brian Burke got from Boston last year. Rutherford is looking to get younger, he is seeking prospects for Kaberle.

The Edmonton Oilers, Montreal Canadiens and Colorado Avalanche seem to have the most interest in Kaberle right now.

hahaha that's funny. kaberle is a plug. i'm a leaf fan and i'm so puzzled how he was our best defenseman yet has looked so bad in boston and carolina. shows how bad our defense was.
