Clarke MacArthur Trade Rumors

Written by PuckMe    PDF Print E-mail

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Clarke MacArthur may not be a Maple Leaf much longer. He has fallen into Ron' Wilson's doghouse and has found his way to the 4th line.

With Colby Armstrong and Darryl Boyce coming back soon, MacArthur could very well see himself in the press box.

Teams are interested in MacArthur and GM Brian Burke may be able to dump him for a draft pick or a player and pick. Burke might also package him with other assets to complete a much bigger trade.

MacArthur has 21 points (12g, 9a) in 41 games.

True value is more like a prospect and a second round pick. He is a good third liner on a good team that plays two ways and is good in the locker room.

i agree with Jake. This is just a statement of a player who was going through a slump.
