P.K. Subban Trade Rumors

Written by PuckMe    PDF Print E-mail

Trade rumors are running rapid for the Montreal Canadiens as defenceman P.K. Subban is available for a trade.

NHL GM's have contacted Montreal GM Pierre Gauthier on what the asking price would be.

Subban possesses impressive speed and skills, and with maturity he should blossom into an elite defenseman.

Could Subban + picks or prospects head to Anaheim for Ryan Getzlaf or Bobby Ryan?

He is a good player just needs a vet to teach him the respect aspect of the game. If he was on your team you would like him. Christ people he is not Avery..

The Lightning just had a scout from the habs last night, and we're looking for defense men... I just hope its not Subban (Slewban) :-x . Id take anyone else but maybe with the leadership we have (Vinny, St. Louis, Ohlund, Brewer, ect.) he may just straighten out. Plus if he doesnt buy into our system Boucher and Stevie Y will boot him.

Subban doesn't have enough respect for seasoned vets. If he goes anywhere, he should go to a young team or there will be plenty of trouble in the locker room

Hey Vanman,

What in that sentence did yu see as slanderous/racist? And to tell ya the truth I think Mack hit the nail on the head.
PK is cocky and ignorant on the ice and plays like hes already a somebody, when he clearly is not. Granted, hes a good hockey player, hes got alot left to prove. That comment had nothing to do with race. Plus, we're talkin about hockey here not his community involvement, yu fuckin plug.

I wouldn't touch subban with a 10 foot pole. Dirtiest player in the league and not the type of guy you want in a locker room. Dude is a grade A douche

I would have to say after reading ridiculous slanderous comments that MadMike is actually the Grade A douche bag here specially considering that he doesnt know anything avbout P K Subban on a personal level like some of us do. Subban is a good kid and he comes from a good decent loving family. If you ever bothered to read about his family and how much his father has helped kids as principal of the local high school and what his parents have done for the Rexdale community along with good things PK himself has also done, you might actually learn something you racist moron. Geez you really are a serious Douche who slanders people he never met. You are a poor excuse for a human being you scumbag

This article is BS and I just lost some respect for this site.
TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun tweeted on Wednesday that none of the GMs he spoke to had heard Subban's name as being available.

TSN Scout Craig Button also found the speculation tough to belive, saying 29 other teams would be on the phone if he was being shopped.

P.K. Subban is a circus act and should be treated as such. Give him peanuts

Peanuts and bananas ? ask any pro-analyst, pro-scout and gm in the league, they will all say that subban have everything to become a superstar in the league, he just need some maturity, he's 19th in the league for ice time, its not negligible for a kid of 22 years old.
