Ryane Clowe Trade Rumors

The Toronto Maple Leafs would love to bring in a hard-nosed forward. Many feel GM Brian Burke will not be able to trade for a top-line center until the NHL season is over. ie: Ryan Getzlaf or Rick Nash.

A guy Burke is looking at is San Jose Sharks winger Ryane Clowe. Clowe has 1 year left at a $3.625 million cap hit.

There is word that the Sharks are looking at moving Clowe. The Ottawa Senators and Florida Pantehrs also have a huge interest in Clowe.

Burke would love this guy on his team no question but why would the sharks let him go unless they are offered a sweet deal. Burke doesn't offer sweet deals he wants em!!!

Only way he gets traded is if they get a super duper overlay. Clowe is way to important to the team to let him ho for anything less

I don't see why the Sharks would want to trade him for anything less then a overpayment. He's a pretty important winger to them.
