2012 NHL Trade Deadline Hockey Rumors that are floating around:

Rick Nash Rumors: Rick Nash will be traded - The San Jose Sharks and Toronto Maple Leafs are the leading teams to land him.

St. Louis Blues:: They are using Chris Stewart as trade bait to land a forward and top 4 defenceman.

Calgary Flames: The have contacted the Maple Leafs about a trade for Mikhail Grabovski. A first round pick and prospect is being offered.

Los Angeles Kings: Have a serious interest Nikolai Kulemin and Clarke MacArthur - and that the two teams have been scouting each other's games of late. Leafs are looking at getting Jonathan Bernier.

Montreal Canadiens: They are trying to move forward Andrei Kostitsyn and Scott Gomez- no takers yet. They are also in pursuit of Jeff Carter.

Buffalo Sabres: They are quietly shopping Ryan Miller to see the return they could get for him. Jason Pominville has also been mentioned in trade rumors.

Chicago Blackhawks: Could end up trading for Islanders goalie Evgeni Nabokov to become their starter.

Toronto Maple Leafs: If they cannot make a trade for Rick Nash, they will target Paul Stastny and Chris Stewart.

Leafs most likely to be traded at the Deadline: Luke Schenn, Jonas Gustavsson and Mikhail Grabovski. Colby Armstrong is a possibility.Check back often for the Latest 2012 NHL Trade Deadline Rumors

I have always said that the Leafs would likely get NASH for the last two months ...BUT I would not give Grabovski in that deal as that is who would play together to make Nash the good deal to Toronto if the Jackets want Grabovski they have to give up Johanson instead of Huselius....

I hope the leafs sign Grabo he is one of the best 2nd liners in the league at this point ....he needs to be signed first...I would trade for Grabovski right now and we allready have him who can you get that really matches what he is doing for a second line center hes exactly what they need to bring in.

I say do nothing and trade Colborne and Komisarek for Rutuu in Carolina this guy is worth the risk and may be the most underrated guy available!

Leafs need to get a 1st back for the rumored deal with Jackets. No 1st coming to leafs kills the deal as its only there to make up for the contract status.
