2010 Milan Hejduk Trade Rumors

Milan Hejduk posted his 11th consecutive 20 goal season, and will be a UFA on July 1st.

The 35 year old makes $3 million this year, and when asked about his future, “We’ll see what happens.” His family likes the area, and the Avalanche are going to have to spend some money to get to the salary cap floor next year.

Hejduk has put up decent numbers this year with 54 points ( 21g - 33a ) in 68 games. Hejduk would prefer to stay in Colorado and sign a 3 year deal for $3 million/year.

If the Avalanche are not willing to re-sign Hejduk look for Columbus, Carolina, Dallas, Montreal and the LA Kings to offer Hejduk a contract for some veteran scoring help.
