Teemu Selanne Trade Rumors

Teemu Selanne is facing the same old question of whether or not he’ll retire in the off-season. Selanne sounded like he’s not done in his post-playoff interview but probably won’t announce a decision until mid-summer.

Selanne will also speak with his friend and former teammate Paul Kariya, saying he’d be interested to know if Kariya would be willing to return to the Ducks next season. Other factors in Selanne’s decision will be how he feels when he starts training in Finland this summer, as well as the Ducks’ ability to contend for the Stanley Cup.

There are rumors floating around that if Teemu does come back and the Phoenix Coyotes move to Winnipeg he could sign with the Jets and end his career where it started. The most likely scenerio is for Teemu to come back for one more year in Anaheim.
