Marco Sturm Trade Rumors

Marco Sturm made $3.5 million this past season, and those days will be gone. He did not work out with the LA Kings and could not help out Washington in the playoffs.

Sturm is 32 and has had 9 seasons of 20 + goals and 59 points in the 2005-2006 NHL Season. Those days are behind him now and if he still wants to play in the NHL for the 2011-2012 hockey season he will have to take a big pay cut.

Rumors floating around are the Columbus Blue Jackets and Ottawa Senators will offer him a 1 year contract for $800,000. Sturms other option will be to sign in the KHL for a little more money.....stay tuned.
