Latest News from Nick Kypreos: Heard at the draft that Lightning and Steven Stamkos are not close on a deal.
Steven Stamkos’s agent told The Fourth Period that he’ll be discussing a multi-year deal with the Lightning “in the near future.” They could work on a 5 year deal.
It is believed that it’s taking so long to get Steven Stamkos re-signed because of the lack of a CBA beyond next year is a factor in term/salary structure.
The Tampa Bay Lightning are offering Stamkos a 5 year deal at $7.5 million/year.

18 Canadians

Equal? I think not.
That is all.
Once again you prove you know nothing. If you actually knew anything about Canada , you would know that the stereotype for Canada is not being a stuck up person, but we are known as a really nice and apolegetic people. We are also known as great beer drinkers and lovers of the great frozen game of Hockey. After all Canadians invented the game of hockey. We also invented basketball, so maybe you should embrace Canadians for providing 2 great American past times, especially if you love either of the sports. I'm sure alot of your Favorite Philadelphia Flyers players are the Canadian ones. Don't hate on Canadians we provide alot to the U.S. as we are one of the richest countries in the world with our natural resources as we have huge areas of Canada that are untapped resources and greenspaces because we don't fill every nook and cranny of our country with people. Our population is only 35 million people and we are the 2nd biggest land mass in the world. Bigger then U.S.
